Privacy Policy

StayNRI helps you record travel and plan time across countries. Travel history can be sensitive, so we collect only what is needed for the features you choose and give you controls to export or delete your information.

1. Who is responsible for your information

StayNRI is operated by Global Online Solutions, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

2. Information StayNRI handles

Account and profile: Your name, email address, sign-in provider, citizenships, current country, reason for living abroad, and account identifiers.
Travel and planning: Countries, departure and arrival dates, travel purpose, family-time choices, planning targets, opening history, and optional private notes.
Assistant conversations: Messages you send to the Travel Assistant, Assistant replies, conversation titles and previews, proposed itineraries, and the edits or approvals needed to prepare a Travel record.
Files you choose to upload: Tickets, boarding passes, screenshots, photos, PDFs, filenames, file types, and file sizes used to prepare a travel proposal.
Optional location information: If you enable country checks, the device may access a precise position long enough to identify a country. StayNRI stores only the suggested country, detection time, and your snooze or opt-out choice. It does not store latitude, longitude, or a movement trail.
Preferences and device information: Date and time formats, theme, reminders, device delivery settings, app version, platform, sync status, and device registration information.
Diagnostics: If you turn on beta crash reports, Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash logs, diagnostics, app and operating-system versions, and device identifiers. StayNRI does not intentionally attach travel records, notes, coordinates, or backup contents.
Feedback: The category, rating, comment, app version, platform, and feature area you choose to submit. StayNRI does not automatically attach Travel or Assistant content. An email is included only when you separately allow contact. Signed-in submissions are linked internally to the account for abuse prevention and deletion, while the Admin queue normally uses a pseudonymous identifier.
Assistant ratings: Helpful or Not helpful, an issue category for a negative rating, Assistant configuration and protocol versions, app metadata, and timestamps. Ratings do not copy the prompt or reply text. Signed-in ratings remain internally account-linked for abuse prevention, safety thresholds, and deletion.
Optional shared Assistant text: If product improvement is on, you may preview and confirm one text-only Assistant conversation for improvement. Everything shown in that preview is copied and your own words may contain names, countries, dates, or other private details. StayNRI does not add files, filenames, proposal data, saved Travel, notes, calculations, account profile fields, or device location.
Abuse-prevention data: For signed-out feedback, the server briefly uses the network address it observes to create a secret-keyed rate-limit code. StayNRI feedback code does not retain the raw address. The rate-limit code expires within 48 hours.

We receive information directly from you, from the device features you enable, and from the sign-in, cloud, diagnostic, and AI services needed to operate StayNRI.

3. How we use information

Provide your travel timeline, current-country view, India planning estimates, family-time totals, reminders, exports, and sync.
Authenticate your account and keep approved account data available on supported devices.
Prepare editable travel proposals from messages and files. AI output never saves a Travel record without your review and confirmation.
Prevent abuse, protect accounts, investigate failures, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations.
Review feedback and, only with separate opt-in plus per-chat confirmation, let approved administrators diagnose an explicitly shared text conversation.
Prepare de-identified improvement candidates from ratings, structured issue tags, and administrator-written summaries. Automated analysis does not receive raw shared conversations, train a foundation model, change Travel, or publish Assistant changes.

StayNRI does not sell personal information. The public website does not use Firebase, behavioral advertising, or analytics to read your StayNRI account or travel data.

4. Local data, cloud sync, and backups

On supported mobile devices, you may use StayNRI without an account. That information is protected on the device and is not cloud-synced unless you connect an account. The web planner requires a verified account and a successful cloud connection.

When you connect an account, approved profile, preference, and Travel data is synchronized through Firebase. Notification permission, location permission, pending country suggestions, and crash-report consent remain specific to each device.

An encrypted .staynri backup is created on your device using the password you choose. StayNRI does not keep that password or automatically upload the backup. You choose where to save it, such as Downloads or Google Drive. Assistant chats and uploaded evidence are not included. CSV and JSON exports are not encrypted by StayNRI after they leave the app.

5. Firebase, OpenAI, and other processors

StayNRI uses Google Firebase services for authentication, account sync, cloud storage, server functions, app integrity checks, and optional Crashlytics diagnostics. These services process technical and account information under Google's applicable terms and privacy commitments.

The Travel Assistant sends the minimum relevant conversation, proposed itinerary, and uploaded evidence to OpenAI through StayNRI's protected server functions. API requests are configured with store: false where supported. OpenAI still processes the request under its API data-use and retention terms, so StayNRI does not promise zero provider retention.

Service providers process information only to deliver, secure, or support StayNRI. Data may be processed outside your country, with safeguards required by applicable law.

6. How long information is kept

Account, profile, synced Travel, and preferences remain until you delete them or delete the account.
Assistant text conversations remain until you delete a conversation, delete all Assistant chats, or delete the account.
Explicitly shared Assistant text remains for no more than 90 days and is removed earlier if you withdraw it, delete the source chat, turn participation off, or delete the account.
General feedback remains for no more than 12 months. Assistant ratings, de-identified improvement candidates, and privacy-safe audit records remain for no more than 24 months, or are removed earlier with signed-in account deletion where they remain account-linked.
Feedback rate-limit codes and short-lived safety-warning records remain for no more than 48 hours.
Free temporary uploads are removed after approval, cancellation, or expiry, with a deletion deadline within 24 hours.
If a paid document-retention option is available and you enable it, retained documents remain subject to your account controls, storage limit, entitlement, and the separate delete-documents action.
Privacy-safe administrator audit records may be retained for up to 24 months for security and accountability. They do not contain Travel, Assistant message, file, note, or raw-location content.
Crash, security, support, and legally required records may be retained for the period needed for those purposes or according to the relevant provider's configured retention.

7. Your choices and rights

Edit or delete Travel records and clear travel history in the app.
Delete one Assistant conversation, all Assistant conversations, retained travel documents, or an active shared-feedback copy using the available controls.
Turn off notifications, location checks, crash reports, and optional product-improvement participation.
Export available Travel data as CSV or JSON and create an encrypted recovery backup.
Sign out or permanently delete your StayNRI account.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify account ownership before acting.

8. Security

StayNRI uses device-protected local storage, encrypted user-created backups, authenticated cloud access, ownership rules, app integrity checks, and server-side secret storage. No system can guarantee perfect security. Keep your device, email account, password, and backup password safe, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children

StayNRI is intended for adults managing their own travel and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as StayNRI changes. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. We will provide an additional notice when a change materially affects how personal information is used.
